Our Classes

Gentle Yoga

A stress-relieving yoga class to stretch and strengthen the body gradually. Emphasis is on building awareness of the breath and the body. Asanas are practiced at a slower pace with attention to alignment and detail. Alternative poses and modifications are offered for more or less challenge as needed.

Nia Movement

NIA ia a cardio-dance workout blending yoga, martial arts, dance and healing arts to get you fit in 60 minutes – body, mind, emotion, and spirit. Nia teaches you how to listen to the voice of your body and is adaptable and safe for any fitness level.

Day Break Yoga

A morning practice with emphasis on bringing awareness to the muscles of breath, bring juiciness to the spine and to expand the heart center in order to cultivate positive energy and loving-kindness to ourselves and to our community.

Hatha Yoga with Tracy

An introduction to Hatha Yoga – the union of body, breath and mind. The asanas exercise every part of the body; stretching and toning muscles and joints, the spine and the entire skeletal system. Postures also work on the internal organs, glands and nerves by releasing physical and mental tension and liberating vast resources of energy to maintain the balance between mind, body and breath.

Hatha Yoga with Laura

This class will be based on the foundations of hatha yoga practice, and the principles of intelligent movement. Each class will include both energizing and relaxing practices, and I will emphasize strengthening core muscles to safely support increasing balance and flexibility. We will also have the opportunity to explore how yoga’s focus on mindfulness may enhance many aspects of our day to day lives. This class is suitable for those with some yoga practice experience, and also for motivated beginners.

Hatha Yoga with Betty

I blend a variety of yoga styles and modifications into Hatha yoga. I have a calm approach for connecting breath, mind, and body alignment to practice awareness, acceptance, and contentment. In my classes, expect to work on strength, flexibility, balance, and mental focus, with an emphasis on breathing. I encourage using props to help explore our individual body alignment and often include supported, restorative poses.

Sound Yoga & Kirtan

Learn to clear your inner pathway by using sound vibrations to open your heart and empower your sense of self. The natural effects of sound relax the mind, calm the body and expand your inner landscape. Embrace the space where silence and sound meet as you are introduced to vocal techniques, mantra and meditation.
